3 MONTH FOLLOW UP

Today Kristi went to her first post cancer checkup. Three months since she was released from the rigorous chemo regiment. Three months since she has been given a new shot at life. Three months of walking cancer free.

As we sit in the waiting room to see her oncologist, we look around and see patient after patient taking steps toward treatment and freedom from cancer. The familiar smells and sounds bring us back to the experience that was our life for most of 2022.

God has been so good to us this year. We have been held by the Father. We have been sustained by Him. He has been our Rock and Trust. He has carried us though.

Isaiah’s words have become true in our lives.

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

Though the unknown. Through the fear. Through the darkness. Through the fight.

He. has. held. us.

We are once again reminded of the wonderful community that surrounds us. Our friends, our church family, our town. We are so cared for and loved.

God says He will hold us. He has. God promises He will be victorious. He is. God promises His presence. He’s here.

Kristi got an all clear from her appointment. Continue to pray for her as she regains her strength and continues to work her way through life.

What’s next? PET Scan in December.

  1. Blessed be His name. When touched by our prayers He touched Kristi and He gave her the healing she was desperately in need of. He knows His own and He knows who spreads His word to the lost and needy. Kristi has always been His true and faithful servant and she is Saved by His Grace.
Blessed beyond measure. We give Him the Thanks.
