Dead Cancer Cells

As Kristi is improving and recovering from her surgery, we have been anticipating the release of the latest pathology report. When the surgeon resected her colon, he also took the enlarged and cancer infected spleen, a large mass that had perforated the colon wall, and a piece of her pancreas. All in all a large bundle of cells, organs, and tumor. The pathology was released today. I’m not really sure what to think or how to process the information. The pathology reported no evidence of viable lymphoma! The surgeon and oncologist confirmed that it was only dead cells. I told them both that there were thousands of people praying and wondered if they had an explanation. Either the chemotherapy or some other force killed the cancer! We believe and know the power of prayer! We know the healing hand of God. Whether He used one round of chemo or “spiritual chemo we won’t know. I am convinced that God used your prayers and that He responded overwhelmingly on Kristi’s behalf!

We have two appointments next week. One to visit with the oncologist to come up with a battle plan. Another visit is with the surgeon to remove the staples from her incision.

Our blog has reached an amazing milestone. 20,000 individuals have visited the site over 65,000 times! We are so encouraged by the support from people around the country that are praying us through this war. God is good!

We are close to going home to continue her recovery. A snow storm has blown through town and is still going strong. We may not get out of here until the weekend. We are grateful for a comfortable and loving environment to be “stuck” in.

Keep praying and keep inviting more warriors into the war.
